Utah & Wyoming October 15, 2007

IMG00060 - Echo ReservoirI had occasion last week to be in Salt Lake City on business, and with a couple of hours to spare at the end of one of the days, I took a drive up in to the mountains.  This is a shot from the set, of Echo Reservoir - if you click on it, you’ll see the rest of the shots, and you’ll also notice that this is one low on water reservoir!

Great drive up and back down the mountains though.

Hate to break it to you, Gary, but ALL our reservoirs look like that this time of year. We actually had a pretty good winter last year. The year before these looked much worse. We are already praying for snow.

Boy, those shots really remind me of… Wyoming. If you would have went farther than Evanston, you would have seen… sagebrush and flat. Oil wells and antelope. Not the best view of Wyoming. You have to go to Northern Wyoming to see the pretty stuff.

Anyway, good to hear you were in our neck of the woods.

Just a flying visit Dan - in and out. I hope to make it back there some day for a proper visit. The Evanston thing :) Yeah, I realize that was just the very edge. There’s a few places out there I’d like to get to when time permits.
